The hearing will inform the work of, and gather regional information for, the America’s Energy Coast Climate Stewardship Task Force. This hearing will focus on the effect of sea level rise on the four-state region, how other regions in the U.S. are approaching climate issues, and how the America’s Energy Coast states can prosper in a carbon
constrained economy. Findings from the hearing will be included in a report to be presented at the third America’s Energy Coast Leadership Forum on May 26, 2010, in Galveston, TX.”
